Privacy policy

This page explains what PetDebut collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We are a small studio. We collect what we need to make a debut and send you the private link. We do not sell your information.

What we collect

When you start an order, we collect:

• your email address
• your name, which is used in the song
• your pet's name
• the bundle you chose
• the song style and world you chose
• the photos you upload
• notes you add to the order, if any

When you pay, the payment company also sees the card or wallet details they need to charge you. We do not store full card numbers on PetDebut.

The site may keep a short draft of an unfinished order in your browser so you don't lose the name or email if you refresh. That draft stays on your device unless you finish or clear it.

If you write hello@petdebut.com, we keep that message with the order so we can answer you. Our host, email, and production tools will process the files as part of making the song, the video, and the poster.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• make the original song, concert video, and movie poster
• email you the private link when it is ready
• handle a free redo or a problem with the order
• keep a record of what you bought

We do not sell your email, your photos, or your pet's name. We do not use your photos as stock for someone else's debut. We do not buy ads against your name. We may use a finished debut as an example on the site, with the pet's name, unless you ask us not to. See the Terms.

Photos

The photos are the likeness we work from. We store them with the order so we can make the debut and, if needed, remake it. We don't put customer photos on the public homepage unless that debut is already being shown as an example, or you have said we may.

Please don't upload photos of a person you don't have permission to include, or photos of a pet that isn't yours to debut.

The private link

The finished poster and video live on a private link. Anyone with the link can open them. We email the link only to the address on the order. If you share the link, the people you send it to can see the debut. Treat it like a letter, not like a public post, unless you choose to post it.

Who else sees it

We use other companies to host the site, store files, send email, take payment, and generate the song, video, and poster. They only get what they need to do that job. They are not allowed to use your photos to train a public model for their own products, as far as our contracts and settings allow. If a provider's rules change, we will update this page.

We may share information if the law requires it, or if we have to protect someone from harm.

How long we keep it

We keep the order, the photos, and the finished files long enough to deliver the debut, honor the one free video redo, and answer you if something is wrong. If you want an order deleted after it has been delivered and the redo window has passed, write hello@petdebut.com from the email on the order. We may need to keep a payment record even after the files are gone.

Your choices

You can:

• ask what we have on an order, by writing hello@petdebut.com from the email on that order
• ask us not to use a debut as an example on the site
• ask us to delete photos and files after delivery and the redo window, with the limit above
• stop an unfinished draft by leaving the form or clearing your browser data
